RecyclyERP 2026.14 hands your ESG story to the people who keep asking for it: your customers can now see their own environmental impact on your Customer Portal, whenever they like, without asking anyone for a report. Alongside it comes a rebuilt Environmental Impact Report, a much clearer set of Grading Rules, a far more capable Items & Lots import, and help panels across another seven areas of the system.
This release focuses on ESG, Grading & Valuation, Items & Lots, Inbound Orders, Outbound Orders, Collections & Drop-offs, Asset Types, Warehouses & Locations, Templates & Documents and the Customer Portal - with new features added to your Setup Assistant so you don't miss them.
Release Highlights
- An ESG dashboard for your customers. Your customers can now see their own weights, outcomes and estimated CO2e avoided on your Customer Portal, overall and per job. It is off until you switch it on, and you choose whether that means every customer or only the ones you pick, customer by customer. The page only ever shows a customer their own figures, and it never exposes what you paid, what you sold an item for, or your margin.
- You decide who sees it, per customer. A new setting offers three states: off for everyone, on for everyone, or on only where you have ticked it on that customer's record. It applies per customer rather than per person, so a customer with five portal logins gets it for all five or none. Upgrading changes nobody's Customer Portal on the day.
- ESG figures now count units and weight separately. Material handled by weight is no longer counted as though it were individual items, so unit counts mean what they say. Where ESG is switched on, every completed item's stored CO2e figure has been recalculated against your active factor set, correcting historic figures everywhere they appear, with an audit note on any order whose totals changed.
- The Environmental Impact Report, rebuilt. Now landscape, with quick date-range buttons, a clearer footer, totals on the per-device appendix, and an option to include a customer's sites in one report.
- Grading Rules that say what they will do. Every points figure now states plainly whether it adds or subtracts, a rule set to add points warns you that this usually changes nothing unless another rule has taken points off first, and each rule tells you which heading it will sit under. Default Grading Templates now ship for the common Asset Types, so there is something to work from on day one.
- Update existing items straight from a spreadsheet. The Items & Lots import can now match on your own Item or Lot reference rather than an export ID, so you can update assets and attach data storage devices and erasure details in bulk, from a file you already have.
And that is just the start. Read on for everything in 2026.14.
ESG
- Added the ESG dashboard to the Customer Portal: your customers see their own weights, outcomes and estimated CO2e avoided, overall and per job, with a summary card on the job page.
- Control it from Settings > Inbound > ESG with a new "Customer portal ESG dashboard" setting offering three states: "Off for all customers" (the default, and the state every existing system upgrades into unless it already had the dashboard switched on), "On for all customers", and "On where set per customer".
- For the per-customer state, tick "Show ESG dashboard on the portal" on the Customer Portal tab of that customer's company record in the Address Book. The tick is off by default, applies to the whole company rather than to individual people, and any portal user added to that customer later picks it up automatically.
- Privacy is enforced rather than assumed: a customer who is not entitled to the page cannot reach it or the figures behind it by any route, and no page accepts a customer reference from the browser. A customer's ESG access also survives changes to their portal roles, so it cannot quietly disappear later.
- The only money figure available on the Customer Portal is "Value Returned", which remains separately opt-in per customer and shows only what you have actually paid or credited them. Your own costs, sale values and margin are never shown.
- Units and weight are now reported separately across every ESG figure, on screen, in the Environmental Impact Report and on the Customer Portal, so material handled by weight is counted as weight rather than as individual items.
- Alongside that change, and on every system where ESG is switched on, every completed item's stored CO2e figure has been recalculated against your active factor set, so figures produced under the old rules are corrected wherever they appear. Any order whose totals changed carries an audit log note recording it.
- Rebuilt the Environmental Impact Report in landscape, with a clearer footer, totals on the per-device appendix, and an option to include a customer's sites in one report.
- Added quick date-range buttons to the Environmental Impact Report - This Month, This Year, Past 12 Months and more - alongside custom dates.
- The filter bar on the Customer Portal ESG page now shows its date picker in full.
- Choosing a customer with no jobs now says so plainly, instead of a screen that appears to be broken.
- The ESG figures on an Inbound Order are now clickable, opening the items behind any unit figure.
- The "CO2e Avoided" tile now widens to fill the space when "Value Returned" is hidden, instead of leaving a gap.
- Several improvements for phones and small screens, including readable custom date boxes and a page that returns you to the top when you move between views.
Grading & Valuation
- Every points figure on a Grading Rule now states explicitly whether it adds or subtracts points, so a rule can no longer be read the wrong way round. Existing rules were migrated across unchanged in effect.
- A rule set to add points now warns you that adding points usually changes nothing unless another rule has taken points off first. It is a warning, never a block.
- Each Grading Rule now tells you which heading it will appear under, and warns you when a rule's attribute is missing from some of the template's Asset Types, so you know it will be ignored for those.
- The Grading Rule form is now one form rather than two: the technical detail sits in a collapsible section you can open when you need it, replacing the old Advanced Setup switch.
- Added a standalone Grading Rules list, so the rules can be reviewed in one place rather than only from inside a template.
- Default Grading Templates now ship for the common Asset Types, so grading has a sensible starting point out of the box.
- Enhancements to the Grading Rule form on phones, with its availability notice now shown in a standard help panel.
Items, Lots & Inventory
- The Items & Lots import can now update existing records matched on your own Item or Lot reference, rather than requiring an export ID, under a new "Existing Items & Lots" section on the import screen.
- Data storage devices and erasure details can now be imported against existing assets, with a device whose serial number already exists on that item either updated or skipped according to the option you choose.
- Added importable erasure detail columns including who performed the erasure, and the software and erasure standard import columns now populate as expected.
- Items that receive device or erasure data through an import can be marked as assessed automatically, exactly as the hardware audit imports already do.
- Saving an item with many data storage devices is now fast: fifty to ninety-five pasted serial numbers save in one go.
- Improved the import template download and tidied several column labels.
Inbound Orders
- Added collapsible help panels across every Inbound Orders screen, including the list, board, pivot and graph views, the notices above the tabs, and each tab of the job itself.
- The "Attention Required" warning on an Inbound Order now appears once, instead of repeating.
Collections & Drop-offs
- The two competing sets of booking-in defaults on the scan screen are now one clear system, with a single place to edit them and a single place to clear them. Clearing the defaults now also clears the open screen, so what you see matches what will be applied.
- The location picker in the booking-in defaults now offers only real warehouse locations, so a virtual location can no longer be chosen by mistake.
- Added tooltips to the Confirm and Discard buttons on the scan screen, and the standard collapsible help panel.
Outbound Orders & Deliveries
- Reserving and dispatching items sold against a SKU now checks that the item actually matches that SKU, with a warning you can override where you need to, and a log note recording who overrode it and why it was flagged.
- Items sold as resell stock now complete their processing automatically when their delivery is dispatched.
- Made it much clearer how and when stock on a Sales Order is reserved, with reservation state visible on the order and in the Sales Orders list and search.
- Reworded the "Confirm Order" action and its confirmation popup so it is obvious what confirming will actually do.
Returns & RMA
- Returns are now visible from the order and the delivery they came from, so the history is joined up.
- "Create Return" is no longer offered where there is nothing left to return.
Asset Types & Services
- Added collapsible help panels to the Asset Types list and board, to the Asset Type form header, and to every tab on the form, with wording that follows the record you are looking at.
- Each component can now carry a default demanufacture location, so parts and materials go where they belong without being chosen every time. A new optional column on the Asset Types list shows it.
- Bills of Materials are now reachable from Asset Types > Configuration, showing which Asset Types each one is linked to.
- Tidied the Demanufacture and Parts Harvest popup, including hiding a quantity line that said nothing when the quantity was one.
Warehouses & Locations
- Added collapsible help panels to the Warehouses and Locations lists, to both forms, and to all four tabs, replacing the old fixed banner.
- Added tooltips to every control, header and tab on both forms.
- Warehouse tabs now appear on systems with only one warehouse, where they were previously hidden.
Templates & Documents
- Added a new "Our Company / Contact Details Fields" section of merge fields, so a Document Template can carry your own company details, including your address, and the details of whoever generated the document.
- The System Area panel on the Document Templates screen is now hidden on phones and small screens, with your selection carried into the search bar instead so nothing is lost.
Customer Portal & Booking Form
- Opening a job on the Customer Portal now works smoothly, resolving an error that could interrupt it, and the rules are tightened so a customer can only ever see their own summary items.
- Accepting and signing a quotation on the Customer Portal now works smoothly, resolving an error some customers encountered, and older quotation web addresses now redirect to the current ones.
- A returning customer's Collection or Drop-off preference from their last order is now applied when the booking form loads.
- A new booking form question is now added to the end of the list rather than in an unpredictable position.
- Duplicating a booking form question now copies its answer choices too, names the copy clearly and confirms it was created.
Address Book & Settlements
- Improved the layout of the Company Details screen, and added a help panel for contacts that have no email address.
- The Xero contact-update prompt now appears on every save route, and tells you plainly whether the update worked.
- Added Total Sales, Total Purchases and Estimated Profit columns to Settlements, along with Group By Customer and Draft and Confirmed filters selected by default.
General & Platform-wide Improvements
- Recycly's API now carries request limits and usage monitoring on every system, so no single integration can flood the platform. The standard allowance is 30 requests a minute and 500 a day - please contact us if your integration needs more.
- Help panels now expand and collapse reliably on a list with no rows to show, across all three view types.
- Help panels now sit correctly alongside other screen elements, and the optional-columns picker opens in front of the panel.
The above changes are now available for all customers to use (you might just need to refresh your browser).
