RecyclyERP 2026.16 puts a value on everything you process: see what each item is worth, what its grade does to that value, what your customer is owed and what you actually made - all worked out for you. Alongside it come profitability reporting from a single item up to a whole Inbound Order, a preview for your Document Templates, a smarter column picker for busy lists, and help panels with rewritten guides across a dozen screens.
This release focuses on Grading & Valuation, Inbound Orders, Outbound Orders, Items & Lots, Document Templates, the Customer Portal, Leads, the Address Book, Digital Waste Tracking and the Setup Assistant - with new features added to your Setup Assistant so you don't miss them.
Release Highlights
- Item valuations and customer payouts: Every item can now be valued automatically: its fair market value, how its grade adjusts that value, and the customer's share and payout, calculated for you and shown on the item in plain English. The payout is locked in at first valuation, so what you quote is what you settle.
- Profitability reporting: See the profit, margin and markup on every item, roll them up on the Inbound Order's Financials tab, and analyse it all in new Profitability reports.
- Preview your Document Templates: A new Preview Document button shows exactly how a template will come out against a real record - without printing, emailing, saving or touching the record itself.
- Find any column, fast: The list column picker now has a search box, Shown and Hidden filters and sorting, so screens offering over 100 optional columns are no longer a scroll-hunt.
- Your screens explain themselves: Help panels, clearer wording and tooltips across Leads, Settlements, Collections, the Address Book, Quotations, Sales Orders, Deliveries, Purchase Orders and the import screens - each linking to a new or rewritten guide in the Knowledgebase.
- Enhancements to Waste Transfer Notes: A new Waste Transfer Note Document Template you can reword, restyle and keep versions of, with SIC codes on your Company Details and a clear reason given whenever a note cannot be produced.

Grading, Valuation & Profitability
- Every item now shows its FMV Price, Graded FMV Price and Adjusted FMV Price, so you can see the value of an item at each step of its journey.
- Configure how each grade affects value, and RecyclyERP applies it automatically as items are graded.
- The customer's revenue share and payout are calculated and locked in at first valuation, with the working shown on the item in plain English - no configuration screens needed to understand a number.
- A clear warning when a valuation was made against a price list that has since changed.
- Record the actual sale revenue on an item and see its profit, margin and markup alongside its costs.
- The Inbound Order's Financials tab now rolls up the costs, revenue and profitability of everything on the order, with the headline figures also available as list columns and in a pivot view.
- New Profitability reports under Inbound and Logistics Reporting for analysing margins across your operation.
- Valuation help panels and a Setup Assistant item walk you through switching it all on.
Document Templates
- A new Preview Document button on your Document Templates - from the form or straight off the list, on a computer or a phone - renders the template against a real record of your choosing, with nothing printed, emailed or saved.
- A plain-English explanation when a preview cannot be produced, saying what to fix.
- Every Documents menu across the system now ends with a Configure Document Templates option, taking administrators straight to the right templates for that screen.
- A new Waste Transfer Note Document Template, so you can reword it, add your branding and keep versions of your edits. The existing Duty of Care Document now prints reliably on newly set up systems, and a clear reason is given whenever either document cannot be produced.
- A new SIC Code(s) field on your Company Details feeds your Waste Transfer Notes.
Inbound Orders & Collections
- Confirming scanned items on large booking-in sessions now runs in batches in the background, resolving an issue where very large sessions could time out and roll back.
- Enhancements to the Requires Signed Contract rule on Inbound Order stages, so orders without a signed contract are refused entry to the stages you have flagged.
- Booking a load in by weight is now explained as you go: the Book In screen says where a load's weight goes, breaking down without a Bill of Materials is clearly described, and a running total shows whether your breakdown adds up to the load's weight.
- Non-administrator users can now open Collections screens without errors.
Outbound Orders & Deliveries
- Delivery buttons are now labelled for what they actually do, and the Deliveries list has its own view with delivery-specific columns.
- One clear Reserve Stock button on transfers, with wording matched to the guides.
- The Line Details popup now explains its buttons, names the delivery you are working on, and only offers actions that are actually possible - cancelled deliveries no longer offer View / Assign.
- The warning shown when stock is not reserved now says how to reserve it and links to the Delivery guide.
- Part-shipment wording corrected throughout, and inbound-only guidance no longer appears on outbound screens.
- A buyback line on a Purchase Order now starts at its Asset Type's cost rather than zero.
Leads & Address Book
- The Leads screens now show a proper leads list - lead-specific columns rather than opportunity ones.
- Converting a lead now carries the customer's Additional Details across to the Inbound Order, so nothing your customer told you is left behind.
- Ad-Hoc Addresses can now set their linked customer - on screen and in the import template - so addresses created there can be used on orders straight away.
- A site's Inbound Orders count now includes jobs collected from that site's address, not just those recorded against the customer.
- The Site Details notice now describes exactly what happens when you save.
Customer Portal
- Simulating a portal user no longer switches your own sign-in, so your other tabs carry on as you.
- The Simulate panel now sits in its own clearly visible place, the user picker works on a phone, and the SIMULATING exit bar is always visible, so there is always one click back out.
- A new "Customer Portal for staff" guide in the Knowledgebase, linked from the portal's staff panel.
Digital Waste Tracking
- Further refinements to the export ahead of Defra's service going live: disposal and recovery codes are now written in Defra's exact four-part format, and dates and times follow the precise expected format in every column.
Setup Assistant & Getting Started
- The single "Complete Initial Data Imports" action is now five focused actions, one per import, each opening the right screen and linking its own step-by-step guide - and over twenty more Setup Assistant actions now link their guides.
- The Data Import and Export guides in the Knowledgebase have been rewritten from scratch, the downloadable import templates corrected, and help panels added to every import screen.
- The Users list now shows each user's Administration level in its own column, editable right from the list - for one user, or for several at once with a confirmation before anything changes.
- Saving your Settings now shows a clear confirmation message.
- The "Dismiss until next weekday" option on the Setup Assistant banner now snoozes until the next weekday, as it says.
- The Welcome to RecyclyERP window now lays out properly on phones.
Knowledgebase
- The Delivery guide has been rewritten against the current screens: what Reserve Stock does (and does not do), how Confirm Dispatch works, and a Common Problems section.
- New and rewritten guides for Purchase Orders, Data Import and Export, and the Customer Portal for staff - each linked from help panels on the screens they describe.
General & Platform-wide Improvements
- A batch of behind-the-scenes calculation fixes means several screens - worst affected was the Collections calendar - now show the right values and load smoothly when working across many records at once.
- Creating a customer no longer fails with a confusing error when a generated Customer Code collides with an archived customer's.
- The removal of an automatically added drive is now always recorded in the item's history.
- The ESG Dashboard's item details now scroll correctly on mobile.

2026.16 completes the first phase of Grading & Valuation. Here is a taste of what the team is working on for the coming releases:

- Digital Waste Tracking, next phase: Defra intend to replace the spreadsheet upload with a direct connection, and automatic submission is planned before the manual route is withdrawn in 2027 Q4.
- Grading & Valuation, next phase: Automatic valuations flowing straight from your grading results into quotes and settlements, building on this release's foundations.
- Route Planning & Optimisation: Smarter Collection routing, with time windows, driver and vehicle clash detection, address quality checks, and a driver-specific app.
- Marketplace eCommerce integrations: List and sell your stock on marketplaces such as Amazon and eBay, directly from RecyclyERP.
- Report Builder enhancements: Create, save, share and export your own custom list reports.
- Mobile device processing: IMEI capture, mobile erasure reports and device-testing integrations for phone and tablet workflows.
- SLA tracking on Inbound Orders: See SLA deadlines on orders, get reminders before a breach, and report on SLA performance.
