We’re excited to announce Recycly 2026.8 This release focuses on Auditing, Automatic Grading, Labels & Reporting, Advanced Activities Views, Inbound Orders, eCommerce Integrations, Address Management, and System Configuration, helping ITAD teams work faster and with greater visibility across operations.
Key improvements in this release include enhanced hardware audit report matching (e.g. matching to Blancco, Aiken, Certus, YouWipe), enhanced grading workflows, more flexible label and weight handling, improved reporting consistency, streamlined eCommerce link management, and a range of usability enhancements across the platform.
Full Custom Attribute Management
It's been a long time coming as there was a lot to consider in getting this into a state where users could safely configure every aspect of Assets' Attributes, and this release includes initial functionality which we've made available to all users, including:
- Full Attribute Management system, allowing you to effectively manage assets of any type.
- From beta-users' feedback:
- Enhanced attribute configuration and validation workflows.
- Improved dropdown validation to prevent duplicate selections and provide clearer user guidance.
- Added improved snapshot and usage visibility for item and lot attributes.
- Enhanced configuration controls and system safeguards for attribute management.
- UI/UX improvements across all functionality.
Auto Grading via configurable rules
Another group of features that have been a long time coming: this release includes initial Auto-grading functionality for all users, including:
- Automatic Asset Item Grading via configurable rules.
- Per one or more Asset Type(s), set a start score (e.g. 1,000) and define how specific attribute values affect that score.
- Define one or more Grading Schemes to match the scores, e.g. Grade A = 901 - 1,000, Grade B = 801 - 900 etc.
- Override final Asset Item Grade.
- From beta-users' feedback:
- Reconciled and renamed Grading menus to improve navigation and consistency.
- Added enhancements to grading templates and schemes for improved usability and calculation accuracy.
- Improved calculated grade workflows with clearer recalculation and revert actions.
- Added stronger validation for grading options and duplicate value effects.
- Enhanced grading help panels and guidance throughout grading workflows.
- Improved refresh behaviour when changing Asset Type and Asset Sub-type selections.
- Added clearer warnings and validation messaging within grading templates.
Hardware Audit Report matching enhancements
- Improved audit matching logic for more accurate item and lot reconciliation, by allowing you to configure whether to ignore spaces and/or special characters when matching hardware audit reports (e.g. from Blancco, Aiken, Certus, YouWipe) to RecyclyERP Items and Lots.
- Implemented matching in BOTH directions AND for bulk updates.
- Added support for improved serial number and ID matching during audits.
Labels & Reporting
- Added dynamic weight unit support across records and reports.
- Improved automatic conversion between kilograms and pounds when switching weight units.
- Enhanced label size management with configurable unit of measurement options.
- Added support for inch-based label formats and improved label naming defaults.
- Improved label generation workflows with clearer button text and simplified layouts.
- Enhanced PDF filename generation for reports and certificates to improve consistency and organisation.
- Improved inbound inventory reports to display the company weight unit consistently.
- Added automatic updates to document layout notes when company address details are changed.
- Enhanced printed report naming consistency across inventory reports and certificates.
Advanced, Central Activities Management
- Added a new central location within the calendar for managing all activities (To do, Meetings, Calls, custom activities), with the ability.
- General UI/UX improvements to Activities across the system.
eCommerce Integrations
Note: Currently only RecyclyERP's built-in eCommerce features are available, but we have been developing integrations for external platforms (Amazon, eBay etc.) which we plan to release to beta users in Q3.
- Improved eCommerce store link management (RecyclyERP eCommerce only for now), with enhanced workflows for batch link removals.
- Added clearer notifications and improved action sequencing for eCommerce link updates.
- Added support for default store item images within product categories.
Portal: Address Management
- Portal users are now able to add / edit / archive their own sites. Along with existing "My Details" and "My Organisation Details" management this means customers have far more control over their own data, (hopefully...) taking the onus off of you to keep it up to date!
- Dropdown selection bugs fixed.
Notifications & Communications
- Improved handling of batch mailing processes.
System & Security
- Enhanced administrator account protections and system safeguards, minimising further the chance of vital admin accounts being accidentally archived.
- General usability, stability, and performance improvements across the platform.
