Localisation: Date format, Timezone, Language, Currency

User Preferences & Currency 

A) Change Date Format

• Go to Avatar (top-right) -> My Profile -> Preferences.
• In Language / Currency / Date, choose your language (example: English (UK) or English (US)) Update Language(date format follows selected language locale).
• Save and refresh the page.

Note: date format is usually controlled by language settings.

Use this when you want to change how dates display for a language (for all users using that language).

1. Go to Users & Settings
2. Top menu: Translations
3. Open Languages
4. Open the target language (example: English (UK))
5. Update Date Format (and Time Format if needed)
6. Click Save

Then each user must select that language in My Profile -> Preferences to use that format.

B) Change Timezone

• Go to Avatar (top-right) ->My Profile -> Preferences.
• Set Timezone to your region.
• Save, then reopen screens to confirm time updates.

C) Change Language

• Go to My Profile -> Preferences.
• Change Language to your language.
• Save.
• If labels do not update, log out and back in.

D) Change Currency

1) User preference currency (My Profile)

• In Recycly, go to My Profile -> Preferences -> Language / Currency / Date
• This controls user-level display/preference behavior.

2) Company base currency (system-wide)

• Path: Users & Settings -> Settings -> Currencies / Main Currency.
• Only safe on a fresh system before transactions exist.
• If invoices/journal entries exist, The system will block the change (expected).
